we are still re-working our concept (will post some stuff soon) but in the meantime we also finished our "old" winter-chalet as a standalone scene.
we wanted to try out different stuff - including the menu-thing and a point+click navigation! check

    Default Environment Vinery Preview

Fabian has been busy with our environment for the last two days - we are really happy with this !
It's not the typical vineyard setting you might expect .

Default Update Architecture and Light and other stuff ...

    Hi there,

Some update, we made some progress on these ends:

We sort of wrapped up the architectural concept. The architectural shell is mainly vernacular - being carved out and turned into a minimalistic retreat. We were inspired by the works of the Olgiati Family, Giovan Luigi Dazio and Carlos Scarpa. We love the way they introduce modernist minimalism with great respect to the vernacular building underneath.

Some Peter Zumthor and some Aris Constantinits may also have found their way in there .

The landscape has mainly got a new light overhaul - we thought a more neutral ambient light might help us with a cleaner interior studio setup, too:

Last, but not least we also refined some of the secret hidden areas that may interest the explorers of our little world. They bring a stark contrast to the minimalist touch of the surface architecture. Here you got what we call "The Slope" and the "Big Barrels". Let's see where this goes

    Peace, Team xoio

I like the abstract look of the interiors, it will be nice to see them combined with the final lighting and all those angles and shadows.

Amazing work team xoio.. Past and present!

I gotta say though, The Slope looks dangerous.. Any plans for some railing?

    Default Finding the mood ..

    Hiya,
Today it is just 2 quickies. We are all about getting the architecture "feel" right.

Fabian has been busy getting the wallshader right - it's all about these subtle hues of aged plaster:

Lasse has taken a quick detour via Corona-Render, to define the look of the interior spaces, we want to achieve. So this is still an offline version of what hopefully is to come :
