Damn! I use Cinema 4D + VRay, therefore can not participate in the challenge, unfortunately I hope it comes soon, a plugin for Cinema 4D!

    Best regards, Saša

Nice idea this Mini challenge !

And happy birthday to this blog.

If I get this right, Image submitted should be posted in this thread ? In this message actually ?

Just played with Brix light this morning and it seems to be the plugin that any archviz artist would have dreamed of !

Welcome... yes - upload the images here in this thread. Keep updating if you like as you go along. I will setup an upload form for the final images prior to the closing of the challenge.

    Default Brix Test

    hi,

this shot was initially planned as an entrance for the brix-minichallenge ronen is running.
but i didn't read the rules to carefully so i must've missed that i have to share the scene finally...which i can't do for this one cause i've used to many assets from my library...
    so i consider myself noncompetitive...

anyway...it was a good practise doing exteriors, since i'm more experienced in interiors...

used brix light for the walls and modified the provided shader for the modern wall in a way it could be seen as some kind of 'new' concrete or sandstone, extracted in that area the house is suited in...

Following your feedback Materialwerk decided too remove the rules regarding submitting the 3d model and not using 3rd party content... since this was limiting to so many of you.

So... no hold back now!!! Bertrand showed us all what this amazing plugin allows him to do - http://www.ronenbekerman.com/3d-rend...rtrand-benoit/ have your chance at getting a life time license of BRIX

Start posting some cool work... (I'll probably push the deadline back a week so you have more time to get back into it)

Oh, that's good to know that we got more time =]

I'm making one exterior view, but I modeling everything from scratch so I believe I'm going to post in a few days.

There is my very first image with Brix. I use Brix on the floor, walls and furnitures and I just love to don't be worry about repetitions and the issues we got with walls of floors. It's a shame we got only few option with lite version but hopefully I'll have the full library in my hands very soon

    I hope you like it.

    Cheers
